Kosher & halal certification

Every bag of Primal Krisp — beef and chicken, every flavor — is certified Glatt Kosher and certified Halal. Not "kosher-style." Certified, supervised, and verified by independent agencies you can check yourself.

Kosher

We carry two hechsherim:

  • OU Glatt (Orthodox Union) — the OU symbol is on every bag. You can look us up directly in the OU product database.
  • Chelkas Hakashrus of Zichron Yaakov — an additional mehadrin supervision on all products.

Both certificates are posted at primalkrisp.com/pages/kosher-certification.

The chips are fleishig — they're meat, so treat them as meat. Nothing dairy touches the line.

Halal

All products are Halal certified by Etimad Halal Certification. The current certificate is posted at primalkrisp.com/pages/halal-certificates.

Where are the chips made?

Our chips are produced at a USDA-inspected facility in Connecticut under full kosher supervision.

Is it Pas Yisroel / Yoshon / Cholov Yisroel?

Not applicable — there's no grain, flour, or dairy in any of our products. Just meat and seasoning.

Questions about the shechita, the shochet, or a specific chumra?

Those are worth answering properly, not from a help article. Message us and a member of our team will get you a real answer — and if we don't have it, we'll take it to our rav hamachshir.
